Sophia Zapiti is a Cypriot artist born in 1983 in Lefkosia Cyprus.
She is an MA Photography graduate from The University of Brighton whose work has been exhibited in Cyprus, Korea and the UK.
Art and Design has been her area of studying for the last ten years and in 2009 she has graduated with a First in BA (Hons) Photographic Practice
from The University of Northampton.
The artist’s portfolio illustrates creativity, subject matter versatility and technical skills. Latest self- set projects deal with issues regards
portraiture, identity, history and culture.
Sophia Zapiti has been working as a freelance photographer, retoucher and designer and
since 2008 she has been running photography and Photoshop based workshops as a volunteer in her community’s youth centre.
